What does concierge medicine cost in Naples?

The headline number

Adult membership at Diamond Cove is $5,900 per year. Children are added at lower rates as part of a family membership — kids are not priced at the adult rate. Family members joining together, including children and young adult children, are offered reduced rates. We don't publish detailed price tiers because the right fit depends on a real conversation, which is what the meet & greet is for.

What that membership covers

• All in-office primary care visits with Dr. Becker
• Long, unhurried appointments
• Same-day or next-day visits when medically appropriate and available
• Direct phone access during business hours, with calls returned the same day
• Comprehensive annual exam
• Coordination of outside care — specialists, imaging, hospital admissions, prescriptions
• Hospital advocacy and visits when patients are admitted (Dr. Becker holds privileges at all four major Naples campuses)
• Continuity with one physician, year over year

What it doesn't cover

The membership covers in-office primary care. Patients still need health insurance for everything else:

• Specialists (cardiology, dermatology, orthopedics, etc.)
• Hospitalization
• Imaging (MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound)
• Lab work performed at outside labs
• Surgery
• Prescriptions filled at outside pharmacies
• Emergency room visits

Why is Diamond Cove more expensive than some other concierge practices in Naples?

Three structural reasons.

Smaller patient panel. Diamond Cove is capped at approximately 150 patients. Many corporate-branded and hospital-owned concierge practices operate with several hundred patients per physician. A smaller panel means each membership has to cover a larger share of the cost of running the practice.

Doctor-owned, no corporate overhead. An independent practice doesn't subsidize membership pricing across a multi-physician network or a hospital system. The math is built around one doctor and a small panel.

That said: if a lower-cost concierge model would fit your needs better, we will say so during the meet & greet. We are not trying to sell membership to patients who would be better off elsewhere.

How to think about the value calculation

Concierge medicine is rarely the cheapest healthcare option, and pretending otherwise would be misleading. The honest case for it is value, not savings:

Time saved. Faster access for non-urgent issues means fewer half-days lost to urgent care or emergency rooms. For patients whose time has real economic value, the savings can be substantial.

Care coordinated by one office. Patients with multiple specialists often spend significant time and energy coordinating their own care. A concierge practice does that for you.

Better preventive care. Time and bandwidth allow for actual prevention, not just reactive medicine. Catching things earlier matters.

The relationship. The thing patients describe most often is the feeling of finally being heard. That is qualitative and not quantifiable, but for many patients it is what makes the cost worth it.

Family and couple memberships

Family memberships are available. Adult spouses are each priced at the adult membership level. Children are added at lower rates. Pricing details are walked through in the meet & greet because they depend on family composition and ages.

Payment

Membership is billed annually. Specifics about payment plans, billing schedules, and renewal terms are discussed during the meet & greet and laid out in the membership agreement.

Honest expectations

Concierge medicine isn't for everyone, and Diamond Cove isn't for every concierge patient.

If you're choosing a primary care physician based on which one will shave a few hundred dollars off the annual fee, we'd rather you go elsewhere — genuinely. The membership fee reflects what it actually costs to cap a practice at 150 patients and give every one of them real time and direct access. Price-shopping produces a particular kind of doctor-patient relationship, and it's not the one Dr. Becker is interested in building.

The patients who do well here have already decided their health is worth paying attention to. They want a doctor who knows them — not a brand, not a network, not a rotation of partners covering for each other. They value continuity, unhurried visits, and the ability to reach the doctor directly when something matters.

If another concierge practice offers to match or undercut our fee to win you, take them up on it. We won't try to keep you. The 150-patient cap exists precisely so we don't have to compete on price.
