That is what tends to be missing in the systems patients are leaving behind, and it is what concierge medicine is supposed to deliver.

Specific themes that come up consistently in patient feedback:

• Dr. Becker remembers things. Specific details about prior conditions, family history, medications that didn't work. Patients describe the experience of not having to repeat their full story every visit.
• Appointments are unhurried. Visits run as long as they need to. There is no sense of being processed.
• Phone calls actually get returned. Same-day, almost always by Dr. Becker herself. This is the feature patients describe as most consistently delivered.
• The office knows you. Small staff, small panel, real recognition. Patients aren't anonymous in their own primary care office.
• Coordination actually happens. Specialists, labs, prescriptions — the kind of follow-through that patients used to do themselves now happens through the office.
